BAC Folk Arts Society will serve as a monthly support group for folk and traditional practitioners to discuss issues related to the preservation, promotion, and practice of folk and traditional arts. All meetings will be held “in the round.” No podiums or microphones, only a circle of ideas.
Meetings are free and open to artists and those who are committed to preserving and practicing traditional and folk expressions. Guest speakers will share knowledge and facilitate dialogue around issues that impact the disciplines of the folk and traditional arts. If you would like to join the group, have ideas for topics, or would like to organize or host a gathering, please contact BAC Folk Arts Director Christopher Mulé at [email protected].
